Introduction: The main idea of this essay is to identify the role of media as an obstacle to enlightening and informing the public. It is a fact that media plays an essential role in our society, it is one of the most talked about topics among our people. However, the basic purpose of media in any society in the world would definitely be to enlighten the nation and keep them informed about the latest happenings around the world. In this regard, truth would be the main function, which means that if the information provided by the media is not true, it demonstrates the bias and incompetence of the media in playing its role in the sustainability of any society. However, this bias or lack of truth in the information provided by the media leads to creating an obstacle that prevents the general public from being enlightened or informed. Media bias creates an environment of lies and ambiguity where reality is presented to the public after having been completely manipulated. This manipulation of information takes away the essence and basic purpose of that information. Furthermore, it either makes the audience believe something that is not true, or it confuses them and they end up losing interest, which can definitely be a big loss for any company. (Shah) Reasons: The involvement of powerful personalities of the society and their impact is one of the main reasons for this media manipulation. It can be said that the use of points that may interest or attract people is now a media norm. During this period a statement is formulated which then becomes saturated in the media until it is accepted as fact by a significant portion of the population. They need to understand their basic purpose in society, so they need to be more patient for this, only then they will be able to achieve their goal as no doubt, after all, it takes time to acquire good and accurate information.
