The film I chose to review is a very popular film called Nightmare Before Christmas. It was created by the famous Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick. I think the target audience was probably children, but in recent years more rebellious teenagers, like me, have taken the popularity of films to a new level. The genre would be Stop Motion Animation, which simply means that the characters were made of clay or figures and moved slowly and painfully to create a 76 minute film. Since it was created for children, it naturally has many musical numbers. I suppose the message might be that no matter how successful you might be, you might still get bored with your life, once that happens, who's to stop you from trying something else? Maybe you should kidnap Santa Claus and take over his job, but you know what I mean. After exploring the opportunities you might just realize that what you had was just perfect...
