Viola, while at Orsino's house, desires the impossible: to reveal herself as a woman and marry her true love. In Olivia's house, however, the impossible, that two women married in Elizabethan times, is what almost happens. Viola is shocked by the lack of pretense with Orsino; Fantastic revelations and requited love seem impossible in his home. Ironically, when fantastic things happen in Olivia's house, Viola is obviously displeased with the folly of random fights to the death and the repercussions of carelessly fired Cupid's arrows. When Sebastian enters the plot, he makes it clear that life in Olivia's world seems crazy. It shouldn't happen that he can meet a beautiful, rich woman who is already in love with him, yet he knows that he is not dreaming. Ultimately, being with Olivia earns Sebastian a new title, a wife, and a new property. Furthermore, where Olivia could have called off their bad marriage, she maintains their bonds. Sebastian's friend Antonio is not lucky enough to stumble upon Olivia's estate. Orsino's men find him, which means no deus ex machina can appear to save him, and no prank or clever ploy will solve his situation. It is only when everyone is together, when reality and fantasy meet, that he is saved
