In Lewis Carroll's novel, Alice in Wonderland, there were many situations where she felt different from everyone else. For example when Alice was with the Mad Hatter, when Alice was with the Caterpillar and the Pigeon and when Alice was with the Queen of Hearts. Alice always felt that she was different in Wonderland, but especially when she was with the Mad Hatter. At first Alice always felt she was different, but she realized it when she met the Mad Hatter. For example, when he told her that there was no room at the table where he sat anyway, she felt that she was very unwanted. Alice also feels very different when the Mad Hatter refers to time as a person and not a thing. When Alice was with the Mad Hatter she questioned his actions, but especially when he stuck a mouse in a teapot. When the Mad Hatter put the mouse in the teapot, Alice really began to wonder how people in Wonderland behaved. Therefore when Alice is with the Mad Hatter she feels different from everyone else, just as when she is with the caterpillar and the pigeon. Furthermore, Alice continues to feel different when she meets the caterpillar and the pigeon. For example, when she is with the caterpillar, he asks her to recite a poem to him. The caterpillar didn't know what the poem said exactly, but he knew that Alice knew what the poem said. As she recited the poem he told her that she had gotten the poem all wrong. The caterpillar told her so that she would realize that she had changed and that she was not the same person she thought she was. The caterpillar then asks her "who are you?" When the caterpillar asks Alice this, she has difficulty explaining who he is. The catering... at the center of the card... is different from all those that surround it. Ultimately there are many situations where Alice feels she is different from everyone else around her. Alice realized that she was always different, but it was even more so when she found herself with these three characters who are the Mad Hatter, the caterpillar and the pigeon, and finally the Queen of Hearts. When she met the Mad Hatter, even more so when she began to realize that she was different from everyone else in Wonderland. Throughout the book Alice continued to discover how different she really was. Then she met the caterpillar and the pigeon which made her wonder who and what he was. Then she finally met the Queen of Hearts and truly discovered how different she was from everyone around her in Wonderland. To conclude these were just a few examples where Alice felt different from everyone else.
