Numerous events have occurred in the past that have led to discrimination and marginalization of various populations around the world. Religion, education, war and other socio-cultural aspects of society have led to the development of perceptions and stereotypes against various global communities. Throughout the world, for example, a negative attitude has developed towards the Muslim community after the numerous terrorist attacks planned and carried out in the name of the Islamic religion. Every society in the world has developed a specific stereotype towards a specific individual, community or other social and cultural aspects of life, and this has always had a precise reason or cause. The historical injustices that continue to haunt the world today were instigated for a variety of reasons then. Thesis This article critically analyzes and clearly highlights the existing and well-known correlates of discrimination and mistreatment against various groups living and remaining in the world. United States of America. Various injustices, accusations and false accusations have been leveled against a number of American populations with the Cold War and communist terror used as justification. The document deals with events; the treatment of the Japanese after Pearl Harbor and the labeling of Americans as communists after the Cold War. The treatment of Muslims and other Arab groups after the 9/11 attack will therefore create a clear comparison and understanding of the entire issue of discrimination in the United States. Communists During the Cold War The US government feared that a sizable number of Then Chinese living in America might be convinced by Red China. The US government then took Chinese immigrants… by paper… and by standard, society led to the victimization of not only individuals not directly related to an act, but also generations of people. A good example is the treatment of Muslims not only in America, but around the world after the 9/11 incident. Years have passed, and the Muslim community still bears the burden of guilt for that particular act. Acts of blaming in a sense shift attention away from real problems and issues, and this may be why companies continue to do so. An effective way to address historical injustices is through peace and reconciliation; a method that has yet to be fully exploited. The world should move away from the culture of profiling people based on their origin, religion and similar characteristics aimed at placing people within certain psychological categories that lead to discrimination.
