Owning a dog can be a great experience for people who enjoy their company. These animals are generally friendly and active; they are intelligent and can develop a strong relationship with their owners based on love and care. However, having dogs is a big responsibility for the person who owns them, because they are animals, so they cannot support themselves. Dogs need someone who can feed them, give them love and someone who can exercise them. Furthermore, these animals need large spaces to run and develop muscles, so the owner must know that he needs to walk the dog several times a day. Dog parks are a great place to take dogs because they provide a space where they don't have to be on a leash all the time, while they can interact with other animals of their kind in a pet-friendly environment. Every city in the country should have at least one of these places, to help residents with their pets and because they are part of community life. A few days ago, while I was walking my dog, I decided to run with him but with the leash in hand, so he could be free to stop and sniff wherever he wanted. This experience was very positive for the dog because he was not tied to the limits I had foreseen for him, but he was always at my side while running. A couple of minutes after they “freed” a policeman showed up. To my surprise he was angry with me and said that having an uncontrolled dog was a serious crime. So, he took my information and gave me a citation in Colonia Municipal Court, while my dog ​​was still trying to sniff around, as if nothing different was happening. Next, I looked for dog-friendly places or parks that I could take my dog, and that were… middle of paper… the same neighborhood and the same city. This can be extrapolated to a community service as a recreational activity, where people have to interact and in this way the life of a city becomes more extroverted. A dog par can be a good experience for dogs because they can feel the relaxing place where they do not have to use the leash, so they are free to move wherever they want within the park. This situation can be helpful to people, as they are free from worries about their dogs because a large enclosed space where animals are allowed would give them the security that there are no dangers, such as vehicles, or harm to the dog. Additionally, a dog park in the city would help build friendship and community identity since dog owners do not have to go to other cities to enjoy these types of parks. Instead, they can be part of an identity and recognize themselves in their own city.
