EvaluationWhen it comes to the conclusion, there is an interesting range of opinions on whether or not Gothic literature is losing its popularity or is still as popular as ever. A range of opinions informs the judgment to be made on Gothic literature. Overall, the responses collected suggest that Gothic literature is losing popularity, although, according to Figure 2.2, this is supported by data collected in the period 2007-2008 which establishes that more novels have been published since then than supporting the thesis that Gothic literature Gothic literature is popular or not.
