The Boy in the Striped Pajamas The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a story about Nazis and Jews. There is a family made up of two children, husband and wife; they all lived in Nazi Germany. The father was a soldier, the boy was called Bruno and was nine years old. At the beginning of the film, the father has been promoted to a new position and he will be the one to make decisions for the soldiers, as the father was about to be promoted to a higher position, the family had to move from their beautiful house in Berlin to a new home in an unfamiliar place called “out with.” When the family arrived at the new house, the boy noticed that there was nothing around their new house, and he was devastated because he had left his friends behind. Bruno went up the stairs and chose the room he wanted, and while one of them while they were talking noticed that there was a window in his room and looked out the window, when he looked outside he noticed that there was a "farm" where he saw children and adults "work", so he went downstairs where his mother was unpacking in the kitchen, so he went to ask the mother if it was okay if he went there to play with the children. The mother didn't know what he was talking about and said yes, but he told her they looked a little strange. Until one of the Jews entered from the back of the house and brought some vegetables into the kitchen. Bruno notices that the boy was wearing the same type of clothes that the other people on the "farm" were wearing, it was then that Bruno asked the mother why the children and other adults on the farm were wearing the same pajamas that that boy wore wearing. The mother couldn't give Bruno an answer and simply told him to go to his room and continue unpacking. Bruno liked to explore things and that's when Bruno felt most tempted to explore his new surroundings, but his mother told Bruno that there were some places where they were forbidden altogether
