The effects of the drugs are terrible. Drugs have ruined many families and lives. However, there have been many attempts to free these addicts from drugs. In an attempt to cure drug addicts, doctors have tried to cure them by giving them the drugs they are addicted to. Drugs should not be used to treat drug addiction. There are various effects of drugs, including hyperactivity, nausea, dizziness, hallucinations and can even lead to death. However, despite these symptoms, people continue to use drugs. Drugs are highly addictive and cause those who use them to crave them. Methamphetamine addiction can occur quickly, as repeated use reduces the brain's ability to produce dopamine, leading to increased cravings for the drug. (Murray, B., John 1998). Most consumers become addicted after the first use. These drugs have been used for many years. APs, a class of stimulants, are derived from alpha-methyl-beta-phenylethylamine. APs were first synthesized in 1887. The related substance MAP was synthesized about 60 years later. In 1931, the first commercially available amphetamine appeared as a nasal inhaler containing d,l-amphetamine used in the treatment of nasal congestion and rhinitis. As consumers reported that the drug induced insomnia, tablets exploiting AP's effect on sleep appeared in 1935 as a treatment for narcolepsy. In 1936, college students began using APs to stay awake during exam periods. Businessmen and their secretaries used them to induce greater alertness and to counteract tiredness. Truck drivers became users because APs helped them stay awake on the road. Facilitation of athletic performance was one of the claims made for APs. Methadone is heavily abused when trying to treat drug addiction. It has many negative effects when used too much. It can shorten your attention span and mess with your brain. That's why you shouldn't treat drug addiction with it. It takes a long time and gives some of the same side effects as abused drugs, so there's not much help in treating people this way.
