Topic > Hathaway Dinwiddie Company Profile - 1310

CPT REPORT I had a wonderful opportunity to work for one of the best construction companies, which is Hathaway Dinwiddie. Hathaway Dinwiddie has been in the construction industry for over 100 years. They began as Dinwiddie buildings at the time and were part of many historic buildings in California. Hathaway Dinwiddie has expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), partnership delivery and lean construction, design-build, quality control, best value exploration, sustainability and safety. Hathaway Dinwiddie has been using BIM since 1998 and now uses it in every phase of her projects. They use BIM to summarize quantity surveys, develop preliminary construction strategies, and maintain coordination between their team and their partners. Hathaway Dinwiddie provides services such as general construction, preconstruction, design, construction management, and interior and special projects. Hathaway also believes it is one step ahead of its competitor and has also invested in research and development. Their masterpiece constructions include the Getty Center, California Plaza, Team Disney and many others. They have played an active role in building educational institutions and have earned an extraordinary reputation. They have built buildings at UCI, UC Berkeley, Stanford and USC. Hathaway Dinwiddie and USC have a very long relationship, which began with the construction of the USC Cinematic Building in 2008. It was completed in 2013 and has been a source of pride for USC ever since. The relationship between USC and Hathaway Dinwiddie continued when Hathaway Dinwiddie was offered to build the USC Village Project which consists of 6 buildings with a nice...... middle of......paper ties at the beginning and visiting the camp and seeing the actual construction helped me see how the actual construction is progressing. I would like to thank my guide Rob Nastch who helped me and provided guidance in learning the Primavera P6. I learned many new Spring P6 features such as viewing excavation and updating the project schedule based on data date, creating schedule filters, and even creating cost accounting reports. This helped me a lot and I hope to improve day by day with a new learning experience. In the end I learned a lot of things and would continue to learn new things in this field (programming) and I am happy to inform you that I have been given the opportunity to continue as an intern in this project during the fall of 2015 and I am happy to inform you that I will continue my work to be part of such a large and prestigious project.
