Emotional intelligence and transactional leadership move in one direction. Emotional intelligence (EI) plays an important role in every worker in an organization or company, especially in someone who holds authority or power within the company. organization. A leader must become a source of inspiration and a catalyst for the employee to improve their working condition. A true leader has the ability to read what people want even if they are never told (Meghan, 2014). This will allow the employee to build a good connection and relationship between the leaders, thus improving the way the organization is run. Some people may deny that emotional intelligence has affected people's performance, but large companies like Google and Microsoft have implemented emotional intelligence into their working conditions as a way to improve organizational performance. Chadha (2013) highlights that there are 4 key elements to emotional intelligence; self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Within these four elements, one truly related element between leader and employee is relationship management. As the company grows, the competition between other organizations becomes more tense as one organization wants to become a higher level than the other company. Consequently, this condition will put the employee under strong pressure to maintain the status or take it to another level. With the influence of emotional intelligence, high-level managers will feel more understanding of the situation and have a certain human sense.
