Bullying is when someone uses superior strength to intimidate someone into doing what they want. Bullying can cause serious harm to the victim. Bullying is a big problem in US schools. It's something that can be fixed and people need to spread the word to stop it. There are many roles that kids can play in bullying. Children may commit acts of bullying, be bullied, or witness bullying. There are many types of bullying. Verbal bullying is the type of bullying everyone thinks about. This can include insults, teasing and instilling fear in someone. There is also physical bullying. This involves punching, shoving, and making someone do what they don't want to do. This can be the most harmful type of bullying. Racial bullying is also a widespread phenomenon in schools. This happens when a person is targeted because of their skin color or cultural background. Cyberbullying is also a bad thing. Cyberbullying occurs when someone texts, emails, or posts something on the Internet that hurts someone else. All types of bullying are dangerous for the victim. The victim begins to believe the words that come out of the bully's mouth. The victim becomes depressed and turns to drugs or other things to feel better. People bully for different reasons. There are cultural causes of bullying. They are fascinated by victory, power and violence. Researchers believe WWE is the cause of violence in some bullies. There are institutional reasons why people bully. Whether it comes from home or school. Bad things that have happened to someone in his home can cause that person to become domineering. Social issues can cause bullying. The fact that a person is recognized for the negative things they do rather than… the middle of paper… people need to spread the word to stop this. By stopping all the hate in schools we can stop much of the violence outside of school. We have to unite. We must stand up to bullying.
