Gang members will try to leave a lasting impression on younger children. They want to look and act cool to lure them into a whole bunch of illegal activities. It has always been a problem with gangs influencing kids to commit crimes. The gangs try to embellish their lifestyle with cars, clothes and women. The younger kids see the money and want to do the same things the gangs do. Gang violence also extends to young people. When young children begin to see violence in a gang, the image is always made up of two things; death or prison. Gangs are controversial in a way; the gang has many different ways to recruit young people. The problem isn't always the gang, the kids who have unstable home lives. Kids without a strong parental figure at home fall into the gang lifestyle. The gang members tell the boys that they love them and will be there for them. When in all truth they will let them take the blame for the crime. The child goes to prison and the gang member returns to the streets rounding up other innocent children who commit crimes for them. Gangs have a major influence on children in low-income families. This article will describe how gangs influence children into dangerous lifestyles.
