Armando Christian Perez, otherwise known as Pitbull, was born in Miami, Florida on January 14, 1981. At a young age his parents divorced and he was raised by his mother until she discovered his drug dealing business. Once his secret was revealed, his mother placed him in foster care and he then grew up with a family in Roswell, Georgia. He went to school at Coral Park High School, where he graduated and made the difficult decision not to continue his education. Pitbull pursued his dreams of rapping until he was noticed by a famous rapper and from there his career truly began. Pitbull is most famous for his rapping, but he has also starred in many films and developed his own school. Rap was a key component when Pitbull was growing up and he drew his creativity from famous rappers like Nas and Big Pun. His first big musical break was with the popular film series "2 Fast 2 Furious", where his song "Oye" was the theme song for the entire film. This achievement was extremely important for Pitbull's future rapping career because many people watched this movie series and having this song as the theme immediately earned him fame. From this film he signed a contract with TVT Records and released his first album called MIAMI. In the years following the release of this album, Pitbull released three more albums, all highly successful. Pitbull became a prominent rapper and this career led to many more accomplishments to come. From the popularity of his rapping career, Pitbull made a movie about his life and was also asked to be the voice in a popular movie called "Epic". As stated at the beginning, Pitbull started his life rough and this became the plot of his movie.
