I think this is also a good way to explain walking, but some of their aspects of walking only apply to the homeless just because people living inside a family don't often walk the streets aimlessly, without a plan in mind as to where they are going or what they want to do/see. In saying this Alan Radley and others explain well why the task of walking is so interesting. An interesting aspect mentioned in this article is that one homeless woman stated that she often takes night walks to establish her surroundings and make her feel familiar and safe within her community. I find it interesting in that I often find myself walking around familiarizing myself with buildings, alleys, shops, artwork on the walls and, most importantly, I am always aware of the people around me. Therefore, the path of the homeless does not always differ as much as it originally did
