I believe that while the French education system may not be as highly regarded as that of Japan or South Korea, it is generally on the right track in helping prepare children for a life successful adult. One of the aspects of the French education system that I respect most is the fact that every child has free access to pre-school education. This is important because it puts children at a head start once they enter primary school and helps them adjust to what school is like before it becomes more 'serious'.
