Essay on the Position on Abortion In recent history, many controversies have arisen on the topic of abortion, with both sides claiming to be morally right. Those who believe that abortion means the murder of an innocent child and that it should be illegal are considered pro-life. Those who are considered pro-choice believe that abortion is a safe way for women to choose what they want for their bodies and is a way to not have a child if it is the product of rape or incest.
