There is an urgent need for a high level of identification of worker/client boundaries when working within a client population, however realize a conflict of interest scenario is vital when dealing with a dual client relationship. There are so many problems facing a human services professional that explaining them all can be difficult. In this field there are issues such as burnout, secondary trauma, compassion satisfaction, dual relationships and boundary issues. (Reamer, F. (2012). As human services professionals or social workers, there is a code of ethics. In statement 6 of the code of ethics, it states that human services professionals must be aware that in their associations with clients/ clients power and status is unequal. As a result, they distinguish that double or different relationships could pose the risk of harm or abuse towards clients and could impair their expert judgment however in some neighborhoods and circumstances it may not be possible escape social contact or other non-professional with customers experienced human service professionals...
