A simple tweet or Facebook post is a far cry from the media my parents had access to many years ago. I have long been fascinated by the way media has developed around me and the role I play in its evolution. Digital media production not only excites me, but challenges my very being as I am only a minor part in an ever-developing media world. The evolution of media resulting from technologies and innovations that are changed, adapted and evolved every day brings a whole new level of relevance to the focus of the course. The many facets of technological media have changed the way we live, the way we communicate and the way we interact as a society. Not only does it allow me to be creative with my digital design, but it also allows me to immerse myself in investigations and theoretical research into the sociological impact of media.
