Topic > The Karma of a Former President - 1415

Good governance, a bright future, and a prosperous country were what everyone hoped for when Gloria Macapagal Arroyo stepped forward to fulfill her role as President of the Philippines. The country was then in disarray, with people protesting against former president Estrada's corruption. Yet as time has passed the worst has just happened to our country, crisis after crisis, debts piled up beyond the reach of our country, accusations of corruption and manipulation, all of this happened simply because of the abuse of power by one little woman, whom we once called our leader. It is with this that she deserves the KARMA that is currently happening in her life, from her illness to the evidence, charges and testimony presented against her, which led to her arrest this November. Our former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo deserves all these things happening to her, especially if all the allegations of corruption, manipulation and disruption against her past reign as president to her current position are true. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (GMA) thought nothing of the boring hours when people worked to pay the taxes she uses as her own. As can be seen from how he used 25,000 dollars or about a million pesos to feed his friends, when he could have fed about 50,000 people. ALL of his projects are, for lack of better words, full of corruption. The largest and most popular of his corruptions is the NBN-ZTE scandal, in which it was reported that GMA had overpriced the project by $130 million. The overcharging of North Rail and South Rail, where it is even said that the construction of these rails was where the biggest robbery in the history of trains took place, and the latest corruption scandal where GMA occurred , which is about .... .. middle of the paper ...... The thought of her actually living forever in Manila Bilibid Prison is simply justified and deservedly good KARMA for her.
