Within these guidelines there are application nuances that have proven to be a source of misunderstanding. Christians in churches around the world experience cultural differences that have helped shape a local biblical understanding. For this reason, the introduction of a global code of ethics could encounter considerable resistance. The interaction between culture and language could play an important role in the difficulty of establishing a common code of ethics. Groups of people use their language to express concepts to each other and to talk about God (Nueck, 2012). When an important document such as a code of ethics is designed in a different language, assuming that simple translation into indigenous languages ​​can capture the same meaning for all groups of people is a challenge. Beyond this, the idea of ​​a “one size fits all” code of ethics can communicate insensitivity and disrespect for those ministries that appear to “need” such a code of ethics.
