The construction site was located in a central area of a large south-eastern city, crossed by city streets, public services and immediately adjacent to medium and high-rise buildings. Almost all of the work had to be constructed within temporary piling structures to limit settlement of adjacent structures. The construction contract had seven workspace release phases and nine completion milestones, each milestone having its own damages penalty.
