The academic rigor required by the nursing program is something I have already experienced and been able to overcome. I have successfully completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences, which I feel has given me a broad understanding of healthcare and would form the basis for excelling in nursing courses. I also achieved this through the Paramedic and Flight Paramedic course, both extremely challenging but rewarding. My work experience will also help me navigate through some of the challenging areas of the nursing program, this hands-on experience strengthens medical knowledge and the correlation between theory and positive outcomes in patient care. Nonetheless, it is my motivation to be a better healthcare professional that drives me to strive to be the best at what I do, and this attitude will continue as I attend nursing.
