Hitler was and is a very well-known man, but not many know how he came to power. We know he killed thousands of Jews, but do we know why? The Holocaust was a monumental moment in history; not only did it start World War II, but it also changed the lives of many Jewish survivors. Hitler was the highest authority in Germany and could do whatever he wanted at the time. However, he did not acquire this position immediately, but went through many changes at the top before finally reaching the top. Hitler had power over Germany, but what happened when he wanted to expand and conquer other countries? He had many plans for Germany and dealing with the Jews was only part of his many plans, but was he able to successfully achieve his goals? World War II began because Hitler rose to power, conquered countries, and set targets for Germany and the surrounding lands. At a young age Hitler was considered crazy because of his dream of becoming famous and powerful (Tames 5). He couldn't find a sense of belonging until he became a soldier and was awarded medals for his great bravery (Tames 13). Hitler became a trusted soldier and was invited to group meetings. In one of these political meetings Hitler intervened and was very persuasive, so they asked him to join the Nazi group. He was not satisfied with being one of the few leaders and threatened to leave the group; shortly thereafter he became the sole leader of the group (Tami 15-16). He then took things to the next level and ran for the presidential position. He lost the election but was appointed chancellor after requesting the position in a secret meeting. After President Von Hindenburg's death, Hitler took over both the chancellor and presidency, assuming... mid-paper... eliminating the Jews was unreasonable and very costly to the surrounding people. Many people lost family, friends, and acquaintances due to the effectiveness of Hitler's rule. Hitler's rise to power, alliances with foreign countries, and control affected not only the lives of Jews but the lives of people around the world.Bio.com. A&E Network Television.
