Slim feels excited and at the same time scared to finally finish and close this chapter of her life. When she finally confronts him, he tries to attack her, as he expected and that's when she shows him the new skills she had learned. Previously, Slim had trained himself to make the scenario look like he was defending himself if something happened to him. At the end of the fight, Slim kills Mitch in self-defense and when it's all over the police arrive. She meets her daughter again and Slim can finally be free and continue with her life without fear or worries of ever being abused by Mitch.
