“People can expect worry when they are late to class or when speaking in public. As a matter of fact, it's a useful way to predict what's going on in the environment. If this occurs more than expected, the person may develop anxiety” (“Anxiety”, par. 1). An example of an anxiety disorder is “phobias” (para. 1). For example, a teenager whose phobia is afraid of heights can affect his lifestyle. He tried to overcome his phobia by walking on tall buildings and looking down, but that didn't help him. The boy can't fly the plane because he doesn't like the adrenaline rush, the feeling when the plane is about to take off and looking out the window. Since he can't win it, he makes his mother travel around the United States to reach other states. This can lead to family problems as his parents would try to say get over it but they will get tired and there would be a debate every time his parents want to travel. Therefore, the boy would isolate himself from his parents when they planned an outing and would get lost
