To begin with, Liz shows ambition by going to Eva's house and saying, "I don't want to be an idea, I want to go back to school" (Liz, End of Movie). After saying this, he filled out an application and an essay, then turned it in to the school. He ambitiously explains the principle: "I'm smart, I just need a chance" (Liz, end of film). This statement shows that he hopes to succeed. Elizabeth shows ambition by taking 10 classes at once. Explain the principle that “I want to finish four years of high school in 2 years because I'm 17 and I don't want to graduate at 21” (Liz, end of film). Liz continues to show ambition by writing essays to try to win a scholarship so she can attend Harvard. He hopes to win the New York Times scholarship, so he participates in the finalist interview. Liz shows happiness, crying tears of joy when she wins the scholarship! Finally, Elizabeth portrays contentment when she enters Harvard, gets an apartment, and gets a job at the New York Times. All of these examples explain why I consider Liz to be a hopeful, content, and ambitious protagonist
