Frank Gehry is a world-famous architect known for numerous notable buildings such as the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. He was born in Toronto Canada on February 28, 1929 but moved with his family to Los Angeles, California in 1947(1). Gehry attended the University of Southern California and graduated in architecture in 1954 (1). In 1962 he founded his own architectural firm, now called Gehry Partners, LLP (1). At the beginning Gehry used the international architectural style (1) but it didn't suit him because that type of buildings had a bare and unadorned appearance, so over time he was able to create his own style which contrasted considerably with the international style. . For art critics, Gehry's architectural style has been classified as part of the Deconstructive movement, although he claims no connection with any architectural movement (2). Deconstructive buildings are structures where form does not necessarily follow function, so there are many unconventional components in the building that serve no purpose (2). Frank Gehry is a great architect of his time and continues to design many other buildings. Frank Gehry's first major architecture that attracted worldwide attention was the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. The museum is located in a bay in Bilbao, Spain (3) and was part of an improvement plan for the city to attract international attention and attract more tourists. In 1991 Bilbao held an architectural competition in which Gehry won and built one of the most important buildings of 1900 (4). The building is known for its titanium curves, limestone walls and impressive 50 meter high glass atrium (5).
