The good thing about Modern College in the 21st Century is being able to manage how and when you take courses. For example, I'm sitting at home writing this document at my own pace and will submit it online. Even though I have obligations to take care of at work, school, and family, online colleges allow me and others to take courses regardless of our busy lives. It's a balancing act because everything we do in life needs time, and unfortunately, we don't have enough time for everything. Therefore, we must allocate a certain number of hours a day to class work. A study shows that 5,522,194 students attended online courses. However, in the fall of 2013, 14,853,595 students were still attending traditional universities. As you can see, there is still a huge number of students who prefer classroom study. The benefits of this type of environment are the face-to-face interaction students get with the professor and other students. Regardless of your educational environment, you still get the benefit of having group discussions and are provided with excellent resources.
