Topic > Intelligence Quotient: The Influence of Intelligence

Children have the ability to quickly gather information at a high level, some follow a baseline, others are often not interested in receiving an education as they may be late bloomers and some may have an unexpected learning difficulty. Children with accelerated drive need to be identified and challenged, as they have expanding minds that need to be constantly fed input. Standardized education is in place to provide children with principles, practices and mechanisms of learning according to a specific timeline which has been approved by numerous boards of education which will provide them with the proper advantage of learning at the intended scale. Late bloomers tend to be those who do not show interest in education at an early age, but this does not mean that they are unintelligent, but rather that they grasp the concepts through some external nudges and influences (mentoring) to achieve the timeline of planned education. Children with learning disabilities are the ones who need to be identified, in a positive way, and given the necessary tools/help that can level the playing field for them to learn. To help educators understand what level a child is at, it is necessary to provide some form of testing (IQ) to evaluate which spectrum the child is on and which course or program he or she needs to participate in
