Remittance Department: I am now moving to the Remittance Department. The remittance department plays an important role in the rotation of the clients' fund. In the remittance department, I was introduced to the various tools used to transfer funds from the branch to other banks. Payment order is a tool used to transfer money within the same city. The customer has to fill out a form providing all the necessary information about the place where the money is to be transferred, his name, contact details, etc. Payment for the order payment for the order can be made either by cash or by check. The Draft Application is a tool through which you can send money out of town. The outgoing demand draft is used to transfer money out of the city, while the incoming demand draft is submitted by customers to collect money from a branch. This department of the Bank is responsible for issuing new check books to account holders. When the customer receives the new checkbooks, he must sign the new checkbook. Stamps are used if the account is opened in the name of a company. I guided some people who wanted to pick up the new checkbook on behalf of the original account holder. I explained that the original account holder has to come and pick up the checkbook himself. I also had some checkbooks stamped by customers and gave them their new checkbooks. Check stamps and recording of payment order issuance are also done by meCash department: In that department I learned many things like bill collection and deposits of cash and checks are also done by cashier and issuance of fresh banknotes to the public. Collections and payments to customers placing cash in the vault as per the master circular of the state bank relating to the cash department. The cash must be divided into categories 1-land 2-Reissueable 3-unsorted and the last fresh. On daily basis the cashier balances his counter and his vault and after all I check his register or voucher which is executed by him throughout the whole day. Analysis of Management Functions of Organization Planning to Determine Organizational Objectives and Means to Achieve Them: Decision Making Punjab Bank following Group Decision Making. At the head office level: The president of the bank is the chief executive officer of the organization. He is the President of the Board of Directors. The Council isresponsible for defining policies and implementing decisions. The Board of Directors also gives due importance to the proposals submitted to it by the field officials from time to time, while framing policies in the interest of the Bank. We can say that there is a democratic atmosphere and environment for decision making. At the regional office level: The regional business leader chairs the regional management team (RMT). All decisions are made collectively by RMT. All five regional heads of the department are members of this team. At branch level The branch manager makes decisions in association with the branch operations manager and other staff members. Current strategies of the organization The main objective and purpose of a commercial bank is to earn profit. Punjab Bank's current strategy is to give more loans in the commercial and retail sector due to high mark-up rate. BOP has a great advantage in disbursing salaries to public employees. This scheme has improved the profitability of the bank. Organization: Organizational design. Organizational design is the process of developing an organizational structure. Organizational design is the process of developing or changing the structure of an organization. It involves decisions on six key elements: job specialization, departmentalization and chain of command, span of control, centralization/decentralization, and formalization. Organizational hierarchy chart (designation wise). Decentralization IT is a centralized organization. BOP is a decentralized organization to the extent that decisions made at lower levels are made within an overall set of policies, procedures, and rules, with uncovered decisions left to the discretion of lower-level managers. Formalization. One of the newest concepts in organizational design is team-based structure, which is an organizational structure composed of work groups or teams that carry out the organization's work. BOP also has high departmentalization and greater formalization. Work specialization. Job specializations: The degree to which the work needed to achieve organizational goals is divided into various jobs. In job specialization tasks in an organization are divided into separate jobs. Another term for this is division of labor. The BOP emphasizes job specialization and job specification. Managing Change and Innovation Managing change in your organization is a difficult process. This is because strategists typically consider a single variable instead of the holistic view of the organization. In today's world, perhaps the most frequent and common trigger for organizational transformation is technology. This transformation occurs due to the revolution of the production process, information and communication technologies or other processes such as demand management and order fulfillment. It is technological innovation that significantly leads to greater efficiency in value chain activities, especially in the primary and support activities of the value chain. Bank of Punjab is focusing on managing the change environment and innovations. Change Management Program: BOP has initiated an ambitious change management program to further train its employees to meet the challenges of today's needs. Training new staff: Training and development are the core HR issues, which will ultimately improve BOP customer service and help BOP to.
