The FIFA World Cup is back to life after 4 years. The tournament this year took place in one of the largest and most powerful nations: Russia. 32 teams from all over the world participated in the World Cup. The school saw the 6 teams, each made up of boys and girls, battle it out in the race for the gold cup. The men's final between Brazil and Portugal took place on 10 July. The winner of this boys tournament was the Brazilian team whose captain Ahmed Shehzad saw the glory of the trophy. Coincidentally, French teams from both the real and simulated tournaments managed to secure a position in the final. Unfortunately the women's final was postponed due to surprise rain. It finally took place on July 12 between the teams of Portugal and France. Unlike the official World Cup, France lost the match, handing the winning title to the Portuguese team. Their captain Aaiman Akhtar could be seen dancing happily after the big win. Some of the designers were interviewed about what inspired them to organize this wonderful event. “Seeing the kids dribble past me while I was playing football left me speechless.
