What Men Want In 2014, the advertising business is bigger than ever. Companies all over the world try to gain the favor and loyalty of consumers. However, it is obvious that not all consumers are the same. Different strategies for advertising vary. The most common tactic is using genre to advertise effectively. For example, Nike has long used the pinnacle of human athletic achievement to sell its brand. But Nike's major endorsement deals go to men (e.g. LeBron James, Rory McElroy, etc.). Nike isn't the only company that markets men based on performance. Ax Body Products also caters to men interested in achieving results in a different way; success with the opposite sex. Now the two companies have different ways in which the brand targets men respectively, but the overall message is that the two businesses are similar.
