Topic > The Big Bang Theory: The Creation of the Big Bang Theory

Michael FullertonMrs.NowellSixth PeriodLanguage ArtsThe Big Bang TheoryMany people speculate every day about how the universe was created and how all space and matter have began. Many people support a theory called the Big Bang Theory, this theory states: fifteen billion years ago all the matter and energy in space were contained in one point an explosion known as the big bang occurred, all the matter and energy in space energy receded at a very fast rate. This theory is supported by many, including myself. “Some of the most frequently asked questions have been: How was the universe created? When was the universe created? Why was the universe created? Many once believed that the universe just existed and that it truly never ended. With the advent of the Big Bang theory the universe could no longer be considered infinite” (Dennis). We had to consider the possibility of a universe that began at a certain point in history and perhaps would end at a certain point in history. About thirty-five billion years ago a gigantic explosion began the expansion of the universe. The explosion became universally known as the big bang. At this point all the matter and energy in space was contained in one point. What was there before this event is not known to any human being and is a matter of pure speculation. This event was not a conventional explosion but rather an event that expanded all the particles of the “baby” universe away from each other. There actually were no galaxies before the Big Bang, but it was more like the process of creating all the galaxies we know today had begun. The person who came up with the Big Bang theory is Edw...... middle of paper...... national waves some scientists are already on the verge of proving that these theories are right and hopefully very soon they will be proven . Perhaps whoever is reading this will be the one to demonstrate the Big Bang theory, the inflation theory and the gravitational wave theory. As far as we know, one of the students at our Alvarado Junior High School proves these theories that would leave me speechless. In conclusion, hopefully the many scientists who are working to prove the Big Bang are making a lot of progress in their research and later in life I would like to see it proven so we can at least have some peace of mind. fifteen billion years ago all the matter and energy of space was contained. At some point there was an explosion known as a big bang, all the matter and energy flew away at a very fast rate. This is what I believe and I hope you do.
