It went pretty much like what we thought was a snake was a shadow on the grass. This intrigued me, because I feel like it killed my thesis about the outside world being real. Our mind makes things up if you let it. For example, if you look long and hard at a wooden door, you can start to see shapes and faces or when you go to sleep and you see a shadow and you get scared, but it was just a hanger with a t-shirt. Perception is a very complicated thing. You see a man pointing a gun and initially you think he's the bad guy, but what you didn't know is that thirty minutes ago the man who had a gun pointed at his head attacked a woman. Your mind makes things up, but with our perception seeing inconclusive things it shouldn't be the reason for us to say there is no outside
