Because of my mother's history with her family and the fact that my father's family lives in Florida or Puerto Rico, we have no great family traditions as most families seem to have. However, we have our own rituals within our immediate family (my parents, my sister and I). Recently, before school started, we had started watching a couple of episodes of Gilmore Girls every night and watching the new episode of America's Got Talent on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Apart from that, we don't do many things religiously because we are all very busy. (2) We do not continue any cultural traditions that my father may have brought from Puerto Rico and my mother was not raised in any of the traditions that her ancestors may have brought from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands or Germany.
