“I'm intimidated by the fear of being average,” (Wang) Taylor Swift told the press on October 24. This quote shows how purposeful his life is. Born December 13, she grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. His career began there at the age of five, when he began writing songs. (Grimm) At thirteen, he decided to sign with RCA Records. Swift didn't last long with that contract because she didn't like the thought of other people singing her songs. (Wang) He later moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 14 to pursue his singing career. Big Machine Records is the next record label to check out on his list. She must have liked it because she is still with them today. I think if anyone is going to be inducted into the Country Hall of Fame, it should be Taylor Swift. Not only for her many accomplishments and impact on society, but her generous donations and charitable contributions are what will also land her in the Hall of Fame. For starters, Taylor Swift should be in the Hall of Fame due to her numerous awards and achievements. He began writing the song "Tim McGraw" during math class his freshman year. This song soon reaches number six on the Hot Country Songs chart. (Wang) Swift won the Horizon Award at the Country Music Association Awards with a response of "This is definitely the highlight of my senior year!" (Wang) This shows how young he was when he started his career. In 2008, Swift's career begins to grow rapidly. In April of that year she received the Video of the Year award and in May she also took home Best Emerging Female Vocalist at the Academy of Country Music Awards. (Wang) His next album, Fearless, sells over 592,000 copies in... .. middle of paper ......l all of its own. He has kept lyrics suitable for all ages and carries himself with class in public. I believe Swift should be a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame not only for the many awards she has earned throughout her life, but also for her impact on people and her many charitable contributions.
