No one knows her true identity. Banksy uses stencils and spray paint on brick walls and has left his mark across England, New York and even Pakistan. He is known throughout the world and is famous for his courage in denouncing recent problems in society. Most of Banksy's subjects include rats, monkeys and policemen who metaphorically represent political issues, war, capitalism, hypocrisy and greed. Banksy finds inspiration from the things around him. Not only does he use society to motivate and influence him, but he also uses slogans to help his viewers better understand his point of view. Since Banksy remains an anonymous artist, not much is known about him, except that he got his start in England and left his mark across the country. I like Banksy's graffiti because it is unique. I like the fact that he is brave enough to challenge society and expose the corruption that many people are blind to. Many artists have no style and when you see a Banksy piece, you know it's his art. It's like the art really hits you and makes you feel something. I feel Banksy's art can bring a change in this world and people need to appreciate it more. He is sharing his gift and wisdom with the world and his importance is being underestimated
