Their hands went up as the Führer passed by. The chants grew louder and louder; “Hello Hitler! Hail to Hitler." This was their leader, a man children looked up to, and the reason Germans could go back to work. Hitler, a leader lauded in his day, is now seen as the cause of 'Holocaust, a unique event in history. Hitler, who was dictator from 1934 to 1945, said: "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed." it was to say that the Jews were an inferior race. Hitler denied the possibility of brainwashing millions of Germans and he did so with words. Hitler knew that words possessed the ability to have an enormous impact on an individual's feelings. Knowing this, the Führer executed the Jews and created a unique but drastic event in world history, the Holocaust. Francis of Assisi, an Italian Catholic friar and preacher, once said: “If you have men who will exclude any of the creatures. of God from the refuge of compassion and pity, you will have men who will behave in the same way towards their fellow men." (LongShaw). Jews, homosexuals, criminals and cripples, all excluded by Hitler. The Führer wanted to create a community where these groups of people were close to extinction. However, the uniqueness of the Holocaust allows it to differ from any other genocide. The Holocaust was an instituted murder, Hitler did not cause mass murder. Hitler and his group would plan their attacks to ensure they killed as many people as possible. Even though Hitler had his own Nazis, he trained children aged 6 to 10 and eventually hoped they would become Nazis. Hitler demonstrated that he had a plan in mind, and it is through his words and actions that ... middle of paper ... on board with others as the Hitler Youth offered him comfort. He tried to believe that if he couldn't carry out his plan, a member of the Hitler Youth could do it for him. Ultimately, the choice is up to the individual, whether to look at their relationships and choose to inspire or challenge other individuals. It is up to the person to choose whether they will live a fulfilling life or choose a life full of hate. Adolf Hitler chose a life in which he was seen as a Führer. However, he lived his life with a view to serving his best interest. Hitler gave in to greed and hatred to create a unique but drastic event in the Holocaust. His main goal was to exclude everyone who did not fit his vision, which is too common in today's world.
