SENIOR PROJECTBSE major is Biology, Society and Environment, offering us a comprehensive education in biology combined with in-depth examinations on the relevance of biology to social and environmental problems. Most students who graduate as BSE complete courses in the biological sciences and humanities. The BSE major was created when the College of Liberal Art offered the biology major, but the program was discontinued. The primary reason BSE was created was to offer interdisciplinary graduate programs that will incorporate the same scientific core found in other majors that also had other social science courses and other humanities courses that will help the student to contextualize your scientific learning. Looking, the number of students enrolled in the BSE program has increased in the last 3 years and the reason is that its program involves a variety of subjects. For example, you can take courses that must match health sciences, environmental sciences, and even many humanities courses. Regardless of your area of interest, the BSE major will provide you with a solid foundation in the sciences. For example, it is preparing you to attend graduate school, medical school, or any type of graduate school. The biggest thing I like about the BSE major is that it gives me the flexibility to customize the rest of the major I plan to take. As college students, we experience the challenges of classes and extracurricular activities, and most undergo a developmental progression in which I gradually let go of my belief in the certainty of knowledge and the omniscience of authorities and take on increasing responsibility for my learning. At a higher level of development I recognize that all knowledge is contextual, I collect and interpret evidence to confirm m...... half of the document ...... unitary leader of fundraising for people affected by the flood in Philippines. I have helped organize youth group events, the largest of which was Confession last week attended by over 400 young people to raise money for Efficient People. The last three years of my life have given me a broader vision of my future. I see the University of Minnesota as a bigger book with many unread chapters and myself as an eager child who has just figured out how to say it. I plan to focus more on graduate school at the University of Minnesota. As a student with different likes and dislikes and many involving many bodily processes, both academic and non-academic, to participate in. With the help of the University of Minnesota, I will be successful after college and will be able to build a name and reputation. place myself in our society today and tomorrow.
