Bridging the GapJohn W. Gardner said, “Much of education today is vastly ineffective. Too often we give young people cut flowers when we should be teaching them to grow their own plants.” Education today is very ineffective. It is in an intermediate stage between the ancient methods and a time of complete reform. The main problem is that people often lose sight of why the education system should be reformed. It shouldn't be reformed because "that's what everyone else does." It needs to be reformed to close the gap for students who have a different learning style. It should be reformed to expand knowledge for students. Education reform can have positive and negative effects. Now most people go to college. Education has had many reforms. Some occurred over time, some occurred quickly, but all had a huge effect on students.
