Topic > Responsibility and Responsibility of Victor Frankenstein

Frankenstein was not an evil madman, but a selfish and irresponsible one. He only cared about himself to the point of allowing his creation to kill his family, friends, and fiancé. By the time Victor decided to take responsibility, it was too late. Responsibility isn't easy, and maybe it wouldn't have caused different outcomes for Victor and maybe it was luck that kept the man and boy alive. But eventually, when the man died, his son was able to move on. When Victor dies, his creation ends up in the frozen wasteland to end his life. A person's responsibility does not only affect them, but also has an impact, positive or negative, on those around them. Responsibility in The Road leads to survival and life while the lack of it in Frankenstein leads to death, destruction and a harsh lesson
