My article begins by talking about one of the most famous playwrights of his time, William Shakespeare, William Shakespeare is known for his well-developed and successful plays. Shakespeare wrote more than 37 stories in his life. Shakespeare's birth is not recorded anywhere. Scholars who have studied Shakespeare have narrowed it down to a three-day radius. In England, where Shakespeare came from, it was called "Book of Common Prayer", this book was like the Bible of the time period. Everyone stuck to this book in everyday circumstances. In the Book of Common Prayer, it is stated that when a child is born it is necessary for him to be baptized on the Sunday or "holy day" nearest to the birth. Shakespeare is said to have been baptized on 26 April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. If Shakespeare had been born on April 23, as everyone claims, then the following Sunday would have been April 25. The fact is that San Marco fell on the 25th, so the child should have been baptized the next day. This theory is the closest you can get to predicting Shakespeare's birth, but everyone seems to approve of April 23 as Shakespeare's birthday. Shakespeare was born the 4th of 8 children. His parents, John and Mary Arden Shakespeare, were thrilled to have a son with the same birth date as England's patron saint, St. George. Although we don't know much about Shakespeare's birth, scholars have managed to link Shakespeare to a 'Kings New School', a well-known grammar school in Stratford attended by the sons of Servants like his father. The boys usually enter school at the age of five years, but since no documents survive it is really impossible to know exactly when Shakespeare began his education at Kings N...... middle of paper ...... historical society that you can actually enter the room where he was buried and you will be able to see the poem in which he wrote and in his will he declared that he wanted it on his grave “Good friend, for the love of Jesus, avoid digging up the dust contained here Cursed be he that moves my bones.” After his death, since Shakespeare never published this poem, his friends John Heminge and Henry Condell included the poem in his first folio. This gave Shakespeare the ideas to write the poem. and it brought no disgrace because if he had used an unknown poem to have a tombstone and had been a poet, how bad it would have looked on Shakespeare. Shakespeare is now known as one of the best playwrights and story writers of his period and one of my favorite authors and playwrights. He will always be a good playwright and have a place in history.
