Topic > Assignment On Steve Jobs - 1146

INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT For this assignment I chose a very famous and well-known entrepreneur. He, however, has already inspired some famous people and has single-handedly helped change the landscape of technology for people around the world. No, I'm not talking about the other billionaire Bill Gates (good guess though), but of course I'm referring to the one and only Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computers. He, Steve Jobs is one of the greatest icons in the world of technology, co-founder of one of the most important and exciting companies in the world. What catches my attention the most about Steve Jobs' leadership style is that he is very charismatic. People often say that there is a sort of "aura" about Steve Jobs that makes him respected and followed. Employees like working with Steve Jobs because they feel truly inspired, real, happy, focused and important. Steve Jobs does a great job keeping everyone aligned with the vision of the company (Apple). He can do this by being an excellent leader who is charismatic, visionary and focused on the long term rather than the short term. (Steve Jobs' famous pose) Apple has some of the greatest intelligent minds in the world, which can be quite difficult to understand. manage if you ask me. This indicates that Steve Jobs attracted great minds to work under him. This is an inspiration to me and it would be a dream job to work with him. Let me tell you a little about his background, Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California. It all started when Jobs' mother decided to give him up for adoption because she wasn't married at the time and had no money. Later, he discovered that his future parents, Justin and Clara Jobs, had not graduated. So she is... middle of paper......nice Steve Jobs quotes! “We don't have the ability to do so many things, and all of them should be really excellent. Because this is our life. Life is short and then you die, you know? And we have all chosen to do this with our lives. So it better be damn good. It better be worth it." "Your time is limited, don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't get trapped by dogma, which means living the result of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other opinions drown out your inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you really want to become. Everything else is secondary.” “Quality is much better than quantity. A home run is much better than two doubles." "Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is better to admit them quickly and continue to improve other innovations.”
