Keeping healthy is the most important thing you can do. You may wonder how I can stay healthy or what can be done to stay healthy. One way to stay healthy is to exercise, eat healthy foods, get enough rest, maintain good hygiene, and visit your doctor regularly. Good nutrients are a necessity for staying healthy and can be obtained by taking multivitamins and other types of supplements. Taking a day off is also a great thing to do to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You can maintain good health by maintaining these routines. Exercise will help you control your weight. It will also reduce the risk of cancer and diabetes. Experts recommend that children and adolescents get at least an hour of exercise every day. Adults should exercise for two hours and thirty minutes a week. Exercising doesn't just mean going to the gym and working out on treadmills and the like. Taking your dog for a walk, gardening, and doing daily chores are also considered physical activity. Daily exercise can relieve stress because it can stimulate brain chemicals making you feel more relaxed and happy. It can also increase your self-esteem and confidence because if you exercise, your appearance would most likely improve. Another great reason to exercise is that it will increase your energy, and you will have more energy thanks to all the muscles you have built up. Food is the most important thing of all because it is a necessity to keep you alive. There are some substitutes that can be made to keep the body healthy. For example, instead of using regular white bread for a sandwich, try using wholemeal bread. Whole grain bread consists of nutrients that most bodies need every day. Just one slice of wholemeal bread contained...half of a sheet of paper...they were full of different ideas. Some ideas were impossible to implement, for example someone put suggestions in the box for giving ice cream as gifts and this is something I can't control.
