Sometimes the story reminds of the movie called MISERY and other times it reminds of the movie SPLASH as well as LADY IN THE LAKE. The genre blends fantasy with thriller and romance. The tone is mostly dramatic and sometimes seems surreal. Protagonist Ben's actionable goal is to escape and survive. The stakes are high. The narrative is very unpredictable. There are themes regarding forgiveness. The plot offers a gripping mystery about the identity of the missing girl. There is a highly inciting event when the girl holds the protagonist prisoner in his own house. The audience is fascinated. The second and third acts are driven by the protagonist's need to escape and ultimately fight the creatures and the witch to save the girl. The story is actually told in a flashback where an old man tells the story to a younger man. It's a workable structure given Baby's twisty ending. However, keep in mind that most will have already guessed that the old man is Ben. The twist still works. The only concern about this type of structure is that it switches between old and young too many times. Consider downplaying it. Furthermore, it is not clear how the young man released from prison can contribute to the narrative. Perhaps there may be another reason why they do this
