In America, we know that without the civil war that took place, here it might be suggested that without the start of that civil war between the South and the North blacks could still be ignored. Jewish rights: If other countries had never intervened to stop Hitler, we could have had one of the greatest annihilations of a race in our history. The war also helped promote women's rights here in America during World War II. as a country we began to see many women step in and take the man's place while fighting in war, that movement alone helped bring out notions of women's rights. During World War II, approximately 350,000 women served in the U.S. military, both at home and abroad. Among them are the pilots of the Women's Air Force Service, who received the prestigious Congressional Gold Medal on March 10, 2010. Meanwhile, widespread male enlistment left gaping holes in the industrial workforce. Between 1940 and 1945, the female percentage of the U.S. workforce increased from 27 percent to nearly 37 percent, and by 1945 nearly one in four married women worked outside the home. (History 2010) Civil rights are vital to any country, people are what help establish a country and when people are burdened, tired and stressed it creates chaos. In every country everyone should have equal rights, everyone should be treated equally. When proud leaders violate this, they violate other people's rights. There are many countries where national rights are violated and because these countries don't have much access, it's not televised. Therefore, the people in power do nothing to help, however, when this continues, it is right and justifiable for another country to step in and save
