From the herbalists of prehistoric times to the modern medicine we have today, biomedicine has always been a fundamental science. The billions of microorganisms to which we are exposed every day suggest that the possible event of contracting a disease is predictable. Studying biomedicine would offer me the opportunity to venture into the world of medicine, as I would like to play a role in treating diseases. My A level choices show my interest in biomedicine.
