There is a lot of diversity between the different causes. There are also many examples of loss of cultural identity found through research. The examples are many and very different. For example, it extends from the United States to China to Europe. It shows many different causes and effects of real life examples. However, it was difficult to find many examples from a specific area. Therefore, I have difficulty narrowing the topic down to a specific geographic area. Another difficulty encountered in the research process is the ability to find solutions to the problem. While preserving the language and protecting small towns will help solve the problem, there is no guarantee that they can completely combat the loss of cultural identity. In essence, the loss of a certain cultural identity is inevitable, however there are some ways to slow the process or help preserve the identity. Furthermore, many solutions are very vague and do not specifically state how to go about doing so. It is essentially a question of “does the individual really want to preserve their identity?” If the individual does not want this, this complicates the process of maintaining their personal identity.
