Tansil expects potential employees to have this when eventually hiring them into his business. Potential employees are expected to have strong communication skills when they walk through the door. One of my team's mottos is that 95% of all problems are miscommunication problems. When you hire people with high communication skills, these instances of miscommunication are minimized. Employees are also expected to have a high level of honesty. This quality refers to the maxim of quality of sociolinguistic knowledge. Employees on my team are expected to tell the truth in every situation. Mr. Tansil (personal communication, October 9, 2015) explained that it may be difficult for employees to give news to their customers, but they need to do so to continue seeking the coverage they need. I asked Mr. Tansil what skills he believed could be taught on the job or whether he thought they needed to be acquired before getting the job. He explained that it would be impossible to teach his employees to have a good heart. Trust and honesty come from having a good heart and without these skills an employer would not be able to succeed
